For Ellsworth cohort:

Most initially enroll in Liberal Studies – pre-nursing (non-competitive), either meeting pre-reqs or not meeting pre-reqs; can do part-time or full-time until enrolled in nursing cohort.

Pre-reqs to college level courses: HS Chemistry (Sally recommends from Marti Dayton at Ellsworth Adult Ed if needed) and Algebra I and II. Grades of B or better recommended.

Need to be ready for ENG 101 and Statistics

Very accessible – can do initial courses online – cohorts of nursing courses start every two years in the fall (Fall 2022 is latest cohort). Cut off for application to Nursing cohort is usually April 1st.

BIO 110 or BIO 210 with a B within the last 10 years a pre-req for Nursing.

Nursing courses are co-requisites and given in sequence; nursing cohort is full-time only.
