WCCC/EMCC Associate Degree RN Cohort Admissions Requirements

Application

This program is starting out in collaboration with EMCC, but should have their own program after this first cohort. Students apply to Health Occupations Certificate at WCCC for the advising and pre-req courses and then transfers into EMCC for the WCCC cohort. The cohort will accept 12-24 students. Students should apply ASAP to WCCC, then the transfer application process for the EMCC nursing cohort is basically the same as applying for EMCC, except all transcripts will be sent directly from WCCC. Cohort program is 4 semesters after the pre-reqs are met and student is accepted to cohort.

Start date of cohort is August 28th, 2023.

Summer courses in Pharmacology and Pathophysiology start on May 15th.

Individuals offered admission to the EMCC Nursing program will be required to submit to a national criminal background screening, at a minimum cost of $75 (may be higher), after notification of acceptance.
